Started in 1948 as a kindergarten in a Threefold community house, Green Meadow began offering elementary education in the mid-1950s and opened its High School in 1974. Waldorf education is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing independent school movements, and Green Meadow is recognized as one of the most well-established and best-run Waldorf schools in North America.

Founded in Detroit, Michigan, as the Waldorf Institute in 1967, Sunbridge College relocated to Threefold property and assumed its current name in 1986. The College’s primary mission is to train teachers for Waldorf schools, and to provide professional development for working Waldorf school teachers. In 1991, Sunbridge was chartered by the New York State Department of Education to grant Master of Science degrees in Waldorf elementary education and Waldorf early childhood education.

Eurythmy is a unique combination of performance art, therapeutic technique, pedagogical instrument, and spiritual practice. Aspiring performers and teachers come from all over the world to study at Eurythmy Spring Valley, which was founded in the Threefold community in 1972. ESV offers a four-year training program for eurythmists, most of whom go on to teach in Waldorf schools. It also sponsors a touring company that has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The Pfieffer Center for Biodynamics and the Environment is operated by The Threefold Educational Center in collaboration with Sunbridge College. Founded in 1996, the Pfeiffer Center is dedicated to developing and promoting the Biodynamic method and its practical applications in land care. It also sponsors The Outdoor Lesson, an environmental education program for local public school children.

The work of the Fiber Craft Studio centers around spinning, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and felting using natural fibers dyed using plants grown in the Studio’s own garden. Students in the Fiber Craft Studio’s popular workshops, courses and retreats enjoy the enlivening experience of creating beautiful and useful objects from natural materials, and forming learning communities that support individual artistic development and spiritual and practical striving.

Creative Speech Spring Valley was founded in 1997 by Michael Steinrueck, a 1984 graduate of the Schulungsstaedte fuer Sprachgestaltung und Sprachkuenstlerische Therapy in Stuttgart, Germany. It offers seminars, conferences, and private coaching in creative speech and public speaking, as well as storytelling, poetry readings, and dramatic performances. It is affiliated with the Speech School of North America, a professional training in creative speech.
